Privacy policy

Last updated: October 25, 2026

joinluminov provides permanent-lighting installers with a business platform: a website and simulator under their own brand, and a dashboard where their team works their leads, appointments, quotes and sales. This page explains what personal information we handle on joinluminov.com and in that dashboard, why, and what you can do about it.

It does not cover the websites our installers run under their own name. Each of those sites has its own privacy policy, published by the installer, who is responsible for the information its visitors share.

What we collect

When you apply on joinluminov.com

The application form asks for your name, email address, phone number, information about your business and a preferred time for a call. We send it to our own customer relationship tool and to our inbox, to reply to you. This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies.

When you use the dashboard

We keep what your account needs to work: your name, email address, phone number, photo if you add one, time zone, role in your company's team, and the sign-in sessions of your devices. Your company decides who is on its team.

Information installers manage in the dashboard

Installers use the dashboard to manage their own customers (names, contact details, addresses, house photos, appointments, quotes and sales). We handle that information on their behalf, only to provide the service to them, and their own privacy policy tells their customers how it is used.

Google user data

Each team member can choose to connect their own Google account from the dashboard (My account → Availability). Connecting is optional, and only the person who owns the Google account can connect it.

What we access

  • Your Google account's email address and account identifier, to show which account is connected.
  • The events of the Google calendars you own (permission calendar.events.owned), to add, update and remove the customer appointments booked for you in the dashboard, each with its Google Meet link. We write only in your main calendar.
  • Your free/busy information (permission calendar.freebusy), so that no one books an appointment for you at a time you are already busy. We see only that a time is taken, never the title or content of your events.

How we use it

Only to place your customer appointments in your calendar and to respect your busy times when appointments are booked. We do not read your other events' titles, descriptions or attendees, we do not access Gmail, Contacts or Drive, and we do not use Google user data for advertising or to develop, improve or train artificial intelligence or machine-learning models, generalized or not.

How we store and share it

The authorization token Google gives us when you connect is kept encrypted in our database's secret store, readable only by our servers; the short-lived access tokens made from it stay in our servers' memory and expire within an hour. We do not copy your calendar into our database. What we keep is your Google account's email address and identifier, the permissions you granted, and, for each appointment the dashboard places in your calendar, the identifier of that event and its Google Meet link, so we can update or cancel it. Your busy times are read when an appointment is being booked and are not stored.

Within your company, the team members who book appointments for you see your busy times as “Busy”, without any detail, and see the appointments booked for you in the dashboard. We do not sell Google user data, and we share it with no one else, except the infrastructure providers listed below that run the service for us, or when the law requires it. No person at joinluminov reads your Google data, except with your permission to investigate a problem you report, for security reasons, or to comply with the law.

Disconnecting

You can disconnect at any time from My account → Availability; an administrator of your company can also disconnect a team member who leaves. Disconnecting deletes the authorization token from our systems and asks Google to revoke our access. You can also remove our access from your Google Account (Security → Third-party apps & services). If you leave your company's team, your connection is deleted.

How long we keep Google user data

We keep the authorization token and your Google account's email address only while you are connected: they are deleted when you disconnect, when you leave your company's team, or when your company's account is deleted. The event identifiers and Google Meet links stay with the appointment records of your company's customers, as long as your company keeps those records. You can ask us at any time to delete them.

joinluminov's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Who helps us run the service

We rely on a few providers, each receiving only what its part of the service needs: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database, hosted in Canada), Resend (email), Twilio (text messages), Stripe (payments), GoHighLevel (our customer relationship tool, and the installers' own when they connect it), Google (maps, image generation for the simulator, and Calendar when a team member connects their account) and Anthropic (AI features such as call summaries, when an installer turns them on). Installers can also connect optional tools to their dashboard, such as Meta, Slack, Fathom or Jobber; those connections are their choice. Some of these providers process information outside Canada, mainly in the United States.

When an installer connects Jobber, we keep the authorization Jobber issues for that account (stored encrypted, never shown on screen) and the name and identifier of the Jobber account. Nothing is sent until the installer's administrator confirms that account. Once confirmed and turned on, our application sends each sale the installer concludes to their own Jobber account: the customer and the work address, a job at $0 with the team's notes and the installation plan drawn on photos of the house, and the installation visit, which carries the customer's Wi-Fi details until the installation is done, then has them removed. It reads the visits to see when work is done. It has no access to Jobber invoices or payments, and no price or payment information is ever sent to Jobber. The installer can disconnect Jobber at any time from their dashboard, or from Jobber.

How long we keep it

We keep account information while the account is active. Applications that do not lead to an account stay in our customer relationship tool and inbox until we delete them. You can ask us at any time to delete your information.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can withdraw a consent you gave. Write to our person in charge of the protection of personal information at hello@joinluminov.com. We answer within 30 days.

Changes

We update this page when the service changes what it collects or who helps us run it. The date at the top tells you when it last changed.
